London based, multimedia artist working in painting, poetry, photography, digital art, printmaking, sculpture and installation.
I have exhibited internationally (Spain, Italy, Switzerland at the Swiss Art Expo) and extensively in London at the Crypt Gallery, Photofusion Photography Centre, the London Underground, Oxo Tower, The Lewisham Arthouse, Safehouse 2, The Horse Hospital Gallery, Morley College, RK Burt Gallery, and at the Watts Gallery in Surrey.
Elsewhere in the South East of England, I was selected to be part of the art and sound installation for Margate Pride and for an exhibition at the Margate School in Kent in 2020 and participated in a group project titled 'Unspoken Truth & Silence' by artist Cas Holmes at Halpern Gallery in Chatham, Kent in 2024. I designed a flag for Glastonbury Festival in 2021. I was invited to exhibit at the Spectrum Art Fair, Miami in 2023. My work was also selected in 2024 to be part of the exhibition 'The Vanity of Small Differences' by Grayson Perry at the Lightbox in Woking.
In November 2024 I was asked by the Royal Academy in London to give a talk about my art practice and paintings to inspire other disabled artists. My design was part of the Guildford Museum's Quilt exhibition, a recent community project which will be included in their permanent textile collection. One of my artworks will be part of the 'Outside In' National Open exhibition at the New Art Gallery Walsall in 2025 and at Christie's London in 2026. My digital artwork is also shown online at the Saatchi Gallery.com which has been viewed by many thousands of people.
My poem 'Locked In' was published by Pen to Print.org in 2023, and in 2024 Lombardi Voices, part of Georgetown.edu in Washington, selected one of my poems for publication.
I successfully completed a Bachelor of Arts with Honours at the Chelsea College of Arts - University of the Arts, London in 2015 specialising in Painting and an MA in Fine Art at UCA Farnham in 2018 specialising in Photography and Installation.
My work explores themes like the relationship between time and memory; I am capturing the rhythms of my surrounding environment in abstract paintings, while weaving them into a larger narrative about our experiences and recollections combined with the impact of social media on isolation and communication.
I have also constructed several installations addressing climate change while using found objects and materials which I also incorporate in some of my other works, reusing what is already there when possible. I have been involved in various community projects that reflects my commitment to social engagement through art.
